In the Cher, between Saint-Satur and Belleville-sur-Loire, the D955 runs along the Loire Lateral Canal. In Bannay, the terrace and windows of the HOTEL BAR RESTAURANT LA BUISSONNIÈRE overlook this major axis of river tourism, as well as the Loire à Vélo route which connects Cuffy, near Nevers, to Saint-Brévin-les- Pines. Just a few kilometers away, the hill of Sancerre, covered with vines which produce a prestigious white wine, offers a unique panorama of the Loire valley.

 

With eight comfortable and recently renovated rooms – four on the ground floor and four upstairs – the HOTEL ** LA BUISSONNIÈRE is a choice stopover in a region rich in tourist, oenological and gastronomic discoveries. As for catering: local cuisine and fresh produce in our RESTAURANT L'ÉTAPE, open every lunchtime (except Wednesday) as well as Friday (from April to September only) and Saturday evening; friendly meals on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday evenings around our TABLE D’HÔTES, by reservation of course. With, among other things, favorite dishes such as calf's head and beef, our Chef concocts cuisine that is always homemade, at very affordable prices.

 

Our car park accommodates your car, and your bike can sleep under cover. And because the surroundings of Bannay lend themselves particularly well to cycle tourism. (we are directly on the “Loire à Velo” route between St Satur and Boulleret).
